Patrols are the smaller bodies in our troop that groups of scouts are put into. Patrols are overseen by the ASPL of Program and are operated by their leadership team. Patrols do some things independently, while at other times, they work with other patrols to make the troop operate effectively as a whole. Patrol positions are elected by members of a patrol.
The Patrol Leader is like the SPL of a patrol. They oversee their entire patrol to ensure patrol member success in scouting. They lead the smaller patrol meetings within a larger troop meeting, known as Patrol Corners.
The Assistant Patrol Leader assists the Patrol Leader in leading the patrol and helps execute plans set by the Patrol Leader.
The Patrol Quartermaster is in charge of keeping track of all patrol gear. They work with the troop Quartermasters to make sure all patrol gear is managed properly.
The Patrol Scribe is in charge of all patrol records and records any necessary information from patrol meetings. One of their regular duties includes taking attendance at patrol meetings.
