First Year Program

After Cub Scouts cross over into our troop, they are placed in the first-year shark program as a part of the Shark Patrol. Within this first year in the Shark patrol, new scouts will learn initial scout skills which will act as a baseline to support their future scouting endeavors.

Their first campout in this program is the Shark Shakedown where they will learn many of these first skills and be further introduced to their new troop and fellow scouts.

Our shark program is run by both adult and youth leadership.
